All Things Country
This blog is going to be about all things country. I will be sharing some of the things I adore as a country girl. Now that I’m an adult, I appreciate my childhood and a few of the customs of growing up in a rural country town.
A great thing about living and growing up in the country is having access to fresh fruits. I remember my mom and I going to the fruit stand on the weekends in downtown Kingstree, South Carolina to purchase the sweetest fruits. In addition to the fresh fruits, they had the big indivifually wrapped peppermints and the assorted fruit chews and bubble gum, oh how I use to love going there.
Fried Chicken was my favorite as a child and still is my favorite to this day. In my opinion my mom made the best fried chicken along with her cheesy macaroni. My mom didn't miss a beat when it came down the kitchen.
Growing up in the country, you would see horses and other livestock as you travel from town to town. I remembered how beautiful the grass and trees were on the farm. Now a days I hardly see any livestock when I travel to my childhood hometown.
I remember playing out I'm the field at my grandparents house, and eating outside. Back in the day kids were barely in the house. We spent most of our time outside. My cousins and I played baseball, dodgeball, basketball and we raced each other .We literally did everything outside besides use the bathroom.
If you're a woman you can make country attire look sexy. Cowgirl hats, and cowgirl boots are the thing now. I wouldn't mind having a few of these cowgirl boots in the photo to add to my collection
Footloose was one of my favorite country movies I enjoyed watching when I was in highschool.
Who remembered the Dukes of Hazard. I just love that orange fast car and how they would jump in through the window and out run the deputy.
I slightly remember HeeHaw. The skits were funny at the time, and the show was one of our entertainment on Saturday nights that was safe for the entire family to watch.

Brittany Spencer was named one of Spotify's Hot Country's Artist to watch in 2021.
Beyonce created two recent country tracks, “ Texas Hold ‘Em and 16 Carriages. Beyonce is bringing the sexy to country. I like to see artists evolved and step out of the box
Lastly, I love to see country weddings on t.v. This is the definition of simple with taste.
